Social Services Funded Residents
We also accept Social Services Funded residents, from all local authorities including Bristol, North Somerset and Somerset. Should you require any information regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask.
Contracts
If local authorities such as North Somerset fund residents, then that local authority issues a contract. However we do have a Statement of Terms and Conditions for Local Authority Funded Residents.
If a resident is privately funded, then we have a contract, which includes Terms and Conditions, fees and extra charges. A specimen contract is included in our brochure which you can request here.
Additional Charges
There are often extras, which are desired/needed such as hairdressing (£7.00 for a gentleman’s haircut, £7.50 for shampoo and set and £10.50 for cut, shampoo and set), chiropody (£10.00), newspapers, toiletries (e.g. flannels, shampoo, deodorant, stockings, tissues, toothbrush, razors, comb), alcoholic beverages aromatherapy (£4.00 per treatment), clothing, sweets/chocolate, carbonated drinks, taxi fares and individual activities (£5.00 per
session). These additional charges are managed by way of a Personal Account, being held in the resident’s name and are available for inspection.
Incidentally, all Social Services ensure that their residents receive £21.90 per week to cover for such expenditure.
